This 2-day workshop begins with a theoretical session. In the lecture “Diagnostics and Surgical Techniques in Inguinal Hernia Surgery,” the fundamentals of inguinal hernia surgery will be explained. This is followed by the presentation of the patients scheduled for the next day. On the second day, live surgeries will take place at Klagenfurt Hospital. Sufficient time will, of course, be allocated for answering questions and professional discussions. A special highlight: after the first TAPP procedure, Dr. Wolfgang Pessentheiner will perform an ultrasound examination on the second patient to demonstrate and visualize the hernia.
