1. Creating a user account / Registration at afs-academy.com (required once only)
On the homepage, click on "BECOME A PARTNER". Fill out the following form. Read through the "Data protection“ PDF and give your consent by ticking the checkbox. Then click on "Create user account". Your account is then checked and activated. As soon as your account has been activated, you will receive an email at the email address you have provided, which contains a link. Please also check your SPAM and JUNK email folders. Click on this link or copy it into your browser. On the following screen, click on "Log in". On the next page, you create your own password. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Save". You can now log in (using your user name (= email address) and your password) by clicking on the "Log in" button on the homepage.
2. Participating in an event
First log in using your user name (= email address) and password by clicking on the "Log in" button on the homepage.
In the event that you do not possess a password yet, please create a user account first – for your registration details, see above under Item 1.
2.1 Selecting and activating an event
After logging in, click on the "Events“ button on the homepage and select the event you want. You can either search using the filter or click on the corresponding month. Having selected the event, click on "Learn more".
The following screen provide details of the event, where you can view the detailed programme. To continue, enter the booking code, which you received in the invitation, in the field "Event code" (in the orange-framed box on the right side), and click on "Sign up". By entering the event code, the event will be activated for you. Click again on the "Add to cart" button in the orange-framed box (bottom right part of the screen). Here you can also read the cancellation conditions.
Event is booked out
In the event that the event is already fully booked, the message "Event is booked out" will be displayed in the orange-framed box. In this case, please contact your AFS MEDICAL product advisor or firstname.lastname@example.org
2.2 Completing the registration
The event you have selected is now in your shopping basket. The shopping basket with the "shopping trolley" symbol is displayed on the page at the top right of the screen. By clicking on the "shopping trolley", you can check your shopping basket whenever you want.
If you received a coupon code (=voucher code) with your invitation, then enter it in the following form. Click on "Add Coupon". The sum (at the bottom of the page) accordingly changes.
Please tick the appropriate fields if you require a hotel booking during the event, and give your consent to the cancellation conditions (compulsory field). Then click on the orange "Register" button.
You now come to the order overview. Check your event registration again. If the sum is not correct, please check your shopping basket – to be on the safe side. If an event appears more than once in your shopping basket, then please delete the one(s) you do not require.
You can change your order whenever you want by clicking on the "Back" button.
To complete your registration for an event, click on "Order with commitment to pay".
If the registration has been made with a coupon for a 100% reduction, you will see your order number on the next screen.
If the registration has ensued without a coupon or with, say, a voucher for a 50% reduction, you will be redirected to the online payment module where you can pay by credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD).
You can view your order(s) in your user account whenever you want while you are logged in. You will receive confirmation of receipt of your order by email (please also check your SPAM and JUNK email folders). You will receive detailed information on the event you have registered for either directly from the AFS ACADEMY team or by email.
Finally, log off by clicking on the "Log off" button (on the top left part of the screen).
3. Direct access to the event with the event code
You have received an invitation with a event code for a specific event. Select the event you want to register for via the "Events" section (on the top left part of the screen). Enter the event code in the "Event code" field (in the orange box) and click on "Sign up". By entering the event code, the event will be activated for you. Click again on the "Add to cart" button (bottom right part of the screen). There are now 2 possibilities for continuing:
3.1 You have already registered or set up your user account
In this case, enter your email address and your password in the following screen. A form is then displayed, in which you can enter your data and invoice information and – as appropriate – redeem a coupon. Continue as described in Item 2.2.
3.2 You are not yet registered or do not yet have a user account
In this case, click on the "User account" link in the blue box in the following screen. Fill out the following form and tick the "Data protection" checkbox. Then click on "Create user account".
You will receive an email with a link at the email address you have specified (please also check the SPAM email folder). Click on this link or copy it into your browser. On the following screen, click on "LOG IN". On the next page, you create your own password. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Save".
Please note: The event you have selected is still in your shopping basket. To view the order, click on the "shopping trolley" symbol (at the top right of the screen). Then click on the orange "Check out" button to complete the registration – refer to Item 2.2
You can now log in (using your email address and your password) by clicking on the "LOG IN" button on the homepage.
